Ave Maria Gounod by Romina Chirre
My mom asked me to sing the Ave Maria - Gounod as a Christmas present for her. The Ave Maria was written by French Romantic composer Charles Gounod in 1859 and it consists of a melody superimposed over over the Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, from Book I of The Well-Tempered Clavier, written by J.S. Bach some 137 years earlier.
